The Prestige Review
We watched The Prestige last night and I was totally impressed. I had a desire to watch it when it came out but like a lot of other movies, I never have the chance so I just forget about it. Then, when I realized there was so much eye candy in it, my interest was reignited.
As we watched I actually forgot about the view mostly because both Bale and Jackman’s characters were so evil. They played their parts well and was thoroughly convinced that Bale was NOT using a double. It is interesting to note, and possibly makes me look a bit dull, but my nephew had given away part of the plot the day before. I didn’t fully pick up on it and all through the movie I was trying to make something into what he had said. Turns out I was completely wrong. I was trying my hardest to make the two main characters in to twins, so when the truth came out, I was surprised. Excellent. Normally I have these things figured out pretty quickly.
All in all it was a great movie. I also love Michael Caine and have enjoyed his performances in everything I have seen him in.
Next watch: PS I Love You. (My mother recommends this one as she has a huge crush on Gerard Butler.) I don’t think husband will be joining me for this one.

I loved the Prestige too. Make your husband watch PS I love you! That movie is GREAT! I watched it on our last cruise
If you’re like me though you don’t watch some of the stupid movies your hubs does so maybe it would be torture for him??? Anyway those are both GREAT movies !!!
