First, thanks for the congrats on my certification! I feel pretty darn good about it.

To answer the question why… I found Cross Fit through a blog, not sure who it was now. They mentioned it and I looked it up. I was intrigued. I spent a lot of time reading their website and trying to implement workouts. Doing that at LA Fitness is interesting at best. But I manage to make it happen. I love every sweaty, painful on the verge of puking moment of  it! (Stacey - you would be in heaven!)

I knew I was going to be teaching PE next year and saw that there was a curriculum and a whole Cross Fit kids section and certification. I knew it was what I needed for my kids! I really want to come at it from a fully informed position, hence the certification. Well worth every penny. I already have a couple of friends interested and coming to do workouts on Saturdays with me! YAY! I won’t start charging yet. This is just practice.

Thank you also for the sweet comments about my girl and her dress. It’s funny that some of you would say that I’m a great mom. It was trying some times getting that dress sewn. My baby girl is 10 and we have begun to hit that line of fiend vs. parent. I have to constantly remind myself to not get my feelings hurt by her and teach her how to learn and respond. There were many moments that I felt I was pretty much just a beeyotch, but she (unfortunatley) held her own. I think it was especially hard this week. My hormones were inflicting their evil plan and my husband was out of town. Not a good combination. But we got the dress done and entered. I’m praying she gets an award. I fear the disappointment if she doesn’t.

Ok, I went over by 4 minutes. Gotta go.

    First off, we seem to have the same shoulder issue going on…dips fn kill me at the moment~bah hate that!

    Second~Cute dress!

    Third~Crossfit for Kids seems perfect for a PE class~how lucky are they! And yes I do love the whole puke thing…that’s why I love going to the MMA gym. After looking into crossfit I realized it’s pretty close to what we do up there. So I do that every am and in the pm I lift weights~and wonder why my hamstring and shoulder are fd up lol :) Good times!

    Wow when I’m done with PN I’m totally looking into Crossfit. I’m told that the workouts we’re doing are like Crossfit - and I’m loving them (in a love/hate sort of way!)
