Ohio Observations

1. I was noticing, while in Ohio, something I thought was interesting. No bathrooms have toilet seat cover dispensers. In California you will have to search pretty hard to find one that doesn’t have them.

So, this leaves me to wonder: Do Ohioans not sit or are Californians germaphobic?

2. There is an ice cream store called Graeter’s in Columbus. I had a scoop of Buckeye Blitz (to honor the state university). Oh wow. That was close to what heaven must be like.

As for #1 - it’s that Californians are germaphobic. You aren’t going to catch any diseases by sitting on toilets, outside of a very unlikely random combination of circumstances (involving you having open cuts, etc. - no need to go into detail).

That being said, I usually use them anyway - not because I’m afraid of some kind of disease, though.

LOL at the toilet seat covers.
YUM on the ice cream — I’ve never had it before but I’ve only heard good things about Graeters.

  6. Stef Says:

I have lived in Ohio for almost 40 years and rarely use a seat cover and have never caught anything from a toilet seat.

As for Graeters….double yum! Sorry Sundie…. I thought the pancakes were enough! LOL!
