Vote!
No, not that election. That’s later.
Should we get this…

or this…

We need a bed. Ours is almost 13 years old, but it doesn’t disturb our sleep much, if at all.
Our treadmill was $80 on Craigslist two years ago. A Sears, bottom of the line, no incline, basic treadmill. It worked, until now. We have outgrown it. It is very narrow and makes changing up the workout difficult. Plus, now and then the motor seems like it gets stuck and you suddenly stop running for a split second. I see myself flying off in the near future.
Log in your vote in the comments. Lurkers, too.
What would you do? We can’t do both right now. It may seem obsessive, but I’m leaning towards the treamill. Sick. I’m sick.

I say the treadmill only because we got a new mattress and I swear we slept better on the old one, even though the old one was old. DH agrees!! I’m really suppose to be a the grocery store…but instead I am blog reading!! Sick…I’m sick!!

I would do treadmill. Sounds like you can get along with your bed a while longer but if you have an slip up on your current treadmill you may end up spending way too much time in your bed and not having a choice of what to buy. It was great catching up the other day.

I will break the trend and say bed. Jared has been talking about a bed on his blog for a while and you guys go to the gym everyday and there is always a sidewalk out the front door.

I say Treadmill, you’ll be so tired you won’t care what you fall asleep on.

I’m actually leaning towards the treadmill too.
I’ve only really mentioned getting a new mattress when Martha has brought it up every now and then, so I think she’s been wanting one more than I have. I could stay with the one we’ve got for a while longer, even though we will eventually replace it.
Having a good treadmill is pretty important for a good workout (IMHO). I’ll go into the reasons why it’s better than running on the street here, but sometimes it’s nice to not need to go to the gym too.

My vote is on Jared’s blog.
But, I just don’t see the use when you have a gym membership and the road outside your house is free. Then again I don’t run on a treadmill or on a road.

I explained it over there. The short summary is basically for convenience (vs. going to the gym) and better, more consistent, and measurable exercise (vs. the street).

Plus, the times when I can run 1. 4:30 am…not gonna happen on the street and 2. After school, it is just easier to be at home where the kids are and keep an eye on them.

Ohhhh…I would get the bed. I have the sleep number bed and LOVE IT! You need quality sleep to be able to work out, so I’d get the bed first, then get the tready later!

I once traded a living room chaise lounger for a used treadmill, i picked a treadmill over a sitting area…
I’m sick
treadmill…go for it!

Its a total toss up for me. I would love to have a Sleep# bed! But having a good treadmill…..well, nothing like it. My bed is ok, but is squeeks (bad when kids are around), my tready is old and small. I hate using it, but its there in a pinch. I don’t run outside.
My official vote…..either.
=)

If it were me I’d say treadmill…it definitely sounds as though you need a new mattress but - a new treadmill is always so much more exciting! LOL..

I’d invest the extra cash sleep on the floor and run outside.
