I have made it so far without injury and now it happens! I have no clue WHAT I did. I did 45 min of cardio ysterday and that’s it. No weights. Felt fine. I went to the gym this morning to work legs. Leg press, everything was fine. Off to do lunges on the Smith Machine and suddenly there was a twinge in my left hip/butt muscle. I kept going. Dummy. Finished with extensions and ham curls. I was thining that I hadn’t been on the gauntlet for awhile and needed a good sweat. I took two steps and it was seriously excruciating. Hopped off. Did a couple hundred crunches and called it a day.
It hurts. I’m already scared to death I’m gonna come back from vacation back where I began this whole ride over a year and a half ago. I’ve been doing really well at keeping it at 120 or lower. Now I’m wondering if I’m going to be able to even run a little while I’m gone. Crap.

Oh, and I have to wear rubber bands on my braces. “It won’t hurt” he says. HA!
