Here is a comparison shot of the B Class from the comp. I refuse to post the one from the Masters because I look like crap.  I took the ass-vice of this one video and shoved my butt out. It really didn’t look good. My mom tried to tell me and I scoffed at her. After all I’M the figure competitor, right? She may have a had a point. Sorry, ma.

I’m not posting because I feel like a bit of a sloth. My eating has been less than spectacular and I’m planning to compete in a mere 3+ months. I haven’t felt like doing cardio one stinking bit. I still love my lifting but those stupid cardio machines are like torture to me right now. I’m gonna get on there the next three days though. I’m not gonna look like a pig in NY when all those figure pros are there. (Totally kidding) I’m just really enjoying hanging out. Laundry and mundane stuff.

Thankfully wallpaper hell is over. The room is painted and looks like peanut butter and jelly, says my daughter, who picked the colors. :) It’s cute, though.

I finally got around to scrubbing the Jan Tana off my suits. I got a little giddy as the memories came back from the show and how amazing it was. I began to think of my pictures and how someday they’ll turn up in a big box that my great grandchildren will look at and probably howl “Look at Granny when she was younger !” Maybe that will be the one they put in the paper when I die. Ha ha…not that I’m planning that out or anything.

So, not much to post about. Nothing to see here. Sorry.

What a fun surprise to get in the mail…the shirt below came and I am so excited! I have wanted one for awhile just never got around to getting one. Thanks, friend. (Too bad I can’t flex without looking like I’m trying to squeeze my brain out of my head. hee hee)

My hammies are crying after todays workout. Like any good mother, I told them to quit whining or next time I’d really give them something to cry about. I’m doing fairly well on my own. The hardest part is that I’m in full PMS mode which makes me crave whole packages of graham crackers and cheezits. But, I dealt with this before now. Sometimes the mind wins, sometimes the craving wins. I’m mostly irritated that it’s gonna be TOM when we go to New York next week. Stupid TOM. :P

I have never been able to REALLY feel my back work. Until today. The Rep scheme was 3 sets wide grip pullups (then narrow grip), to failure. Holy cow. Now, mind you, I did do the assisted as un-assisted as I could.  I am FEELING my back. I also did supersets of Rows with bent over lateral (which I’m pretty sure I’ve never done). I was actually sweating. YAY!

I moved on to biceps and I think a guy got grossed out by my veins. lol I was doing some curls and he walked by, glanced at my arm and made a really weird face. Kind of like what I do when someone asks me to eat brussell sprouts. In my head, I’m all, “Watch it. I’ll take you down with my veiny bicep.” hee hee

So, clean eating is going fairly well. I miss my eating plans from Tony. But, I must put on my big girl undies someday and do it myself. No more training pants. Until prep, that is. :)

We’re going to walk in the little parade this year. Should be fun. Gotta go see if I have anything patriotic to wear.

The Plan

Today was a non-lifting day. I walked what I hope was about 2 miles. Not much but just getting myself conditioned for 50 miles.

Tomorrow will be back, bi’s and forearms…lol, I’ve never actually specifically worked my forearms. Funny. This workout I’m doing has about 7 million pull ups, but that’s what T said I needed to get my back looking like it should.

Friday will be legs…I love working my legs. That wobbly, nauseated, I just might pass out feeling right off the leg press makes me happy. Yep, I’m sick. :) I am GOING to have an awesome hamstring /glute combo and that’s what it takes.

I need to go to the beach, soon. I haven’t been once this summer and it is really bumming me out.

I’ve begun the building phase of my physique. I need to pack on some muscle in order to rip it up in October. I’m gonna try out a training plan passed on from Greg from BFL tracker. I think it will be great for what I need. I started it this morning and it felt so good to push some weight around. Rawwwwr! lol

I’m also working in the walking training I need for the 50 miler in September. I can’t believe I’ve already rasied $200 and only three days of trying!

I’m taking two months off of the Tony plan due to finances (no paychecks in the summer) and two vacations that will prevent me from being very strict…cept on my own plan. So, come the end of August will tell what I’m really made of. If I don’t behave with my diet, there will be NO competing 8 weeks after that, cuz I don’t want to have to kill myself to get ready.

My challenge will be upping my calories while maintaining a bit of leanness. Basically, I need to get to the grocery store and get me some veggies. Yippee. :P
