Double Up Day
I wasn’t able to get to the gym for abs yesterday with all of the end of the school year festivities, so I decided to double up today: Back and Abs. It was actually not too bad. The only thing was that it seemed like every other person there was doing back, too. I had to wait forever for the assisted pull up thingy. So I switched back and forth from abs to back and such.
This thing is so mental. Here is an argument that happened in my head today.
Me 1: Ok, 35 minutes on the elliptical.
Me 2: 20 minutes and 300 calories, that’s good enough.
Me 1: No, it’s 35 minutes, not 300 calories.
Me 2: 25 minutes, you can do the other 10 tonight with evening cardio.
Me 1: You know that won’t happen.
Me 2: 28 minutes, I have to pee. That’s enough.
Me 1: You can hold it for 7 minutes.
Me 2: 30 minutes, How about you go pee, then finish on the stairmill downstairs.
Me 1: How about you up the intesity and sweat for 5 more minutes and SHUT UP!
Me 2: Fine. You win. 35 minutes. Now can we go pee?
I made it!!!! I won! HA!

Every cardio session, doesn’t matter how I feel, I constantly have conversations with myself in my head…whatever it takes to get the job done!

I argue with myself all the time too. I always have to pee too. Gets worse the older I get. I go to the bathroom as soon as I get to the gym, then about 20 minutes later I have to go again.

I’m glad I’m not the only pee pee Queen in the house! I try to make deals with myself too about cardio….I just turn the music up longer

Oh, I know the Dr. Jekell Mr. Hyde conversations all to well and the insane bargaining that goes on. It’s a wonder we’re not all insane.
