Moxie for Life

As I mentioned last time I was going to get waxed on Saturday and yes, I did! We went to this fabulous Spa near LA where my friend’s friend does waxing. We got there early to use the facility before our appointments. We sat in the hot tub, steam room and sauna. We drank Lemon water and snacked on fruit…I know…I did have a piece of fruit, but it wasn’t chocolate or bread…so leave me alone. The waxing was a breeze. This woman was fabulous, although I did not get the whole enchilada done as planned- evidently they don’t do that there. So I asked her to please just take as much as she could. I now look like a porn star, minus the boobs. Not that I’ve ever seen porn of any kind.ever. I got my eyebrows done, too and they are so so…a little thin for my tastes but that’s ok.

It was a very pamperific day!

Later I headed to the gym for seriously the hardest workout I’ve ever done. I came the closest to puking after lunges as I ever have. My head was spinning. But I felt strong and pumped afterward. I just keep looking at Valerie Haines (she’s on the left) and it keeps me moving! She’s one to watch in the figure world, for sure.
